Investors and access
Inviting investors and choosing exactly what each one can open.
- How do I invite investors? On Investors, in Invite people, paste up to 100 email addresses, one per line.
- What does "They are" mean?Who each person is: a prospective investor, an existing investor, a board member or leadership.
- What access can I give? Two levels: View only, and View + download.
- Where do I change who can open what?Manage access on an investor: tick folders and documents, then save.
- How do groups work?A group gives several investors the same access in one place, for example "Series A leads".
- How do I send one document to an investor? On the document's page, use Share with an investor: their email, view only or view and download, and an optional note.
- Can access end on a date?Yes. Set Access ends on when you invite someone, or later on their Manage access page. Access lasts to the end of that day, India time.
- Are invitations followed up?Yes. Anyone who hasn't joined is reminded 3 and 7 days after the invitation, during the day in India time.
- How do I remove an investor?Revoke signs them out and stops them signing in, straight away. A pending invitation that you revoke can be sent again later.
- Can people ask to join the data room?Yes, in two ways. Someone reading a deck link can choose Ask for full access.
